Ottawa Co. Road Commission Issues Statement on Merger Bill - 1450 WHTC Holland's Hometown Station

A merger of such sort, is only for the purpose of centralizing more government with the idea that there will be additional cost savings when it will actually in most all cases increase the use of seeking more additional State and Federal grant funds to try and make these kind proposals work.

State and Federal grants = the need for the Counties , State, and Federal governments to tax more at the onset, then filter those funds through perspective government agencies, restrictions added, (example: fifty-fifty local participation, bonding, millage increase) resulting in more taxation to receive a grant. Of coarse this results in inflation of the project and dollars at the same time.
